A beautiful and raw cut deep blue sapphire is set in a wonderfully unusual way, electroplated with sterling silver. The result is freeform, raw and organic. * The stone in the pendant measures approximately approximately 5-8mm in length. - small enough to be understated, but certainly unusual enough to start a conversation.
*The stone is surrounded by a layer of sterling silver, applied via electroplating. This gives an organic freeform look which is intended to be uneven. There is ia brass peg holding the stone in place which has been electroplated using sterling silver. Electroplating is not done by Verbose Design, this piece is hand assembled.*Recycled sterling silver chain in a paperclip style, 16 inches in length. If you prefer a daintier trace chain as shown in the photos (also sterling silver), please select this from the options below.
*The sapphire pendant can be removed from the chain. The chain looks fabulous worn on its own, to switch up your look. You can also choose to buy both the chunky and dainty chains for multiple different looks in one purchase.For the set option, the chains will be boxes together with one sapphire pendant.
*The edges of the sapphire are surrounded by a layer of sterling silver, applied through electroplating. This gives an organic freeform look, which is intended to be uneven. The stone itself is visible at the back of the pendant too, allowing the light to reveal the beautiful deep blue colour beautifully. There is also a brass peg holding the stone in place which has been electroplated using sterling silver. Electroplating is not done by Verbose Design, but the piece is hand finished and assembled by Verbose Design.
